I'm doing STEM subjects again at uni but this time taking the papers i wished i'd had time to take first time round.
Can't say i'm loving the Canvas LMS. Maybe it's because i'm mostly remote and used to the 90's but this doesn't seem like a step forward. Half the time the lecturers and students are battling with the tech and not engaging with the material. Mind you, how else to push 3,500 students through a first year paper? Here's hoping stage 2 papers get a little more personal - my guess is 90% of students won't take another stats class in their lives.

I always thought one of the things I'd prompt up on this website was a set of quiz pages covering Y12/13 high school STEM subjects.
But given the rate of progress of free AI chat tools, it's irrelevent - you may as well just prompt the AI to give you a multi-choice set of questions. I like my prompt to include something like "Make sure all numberical options are within 10% of the correct answer" AO that i don't get any of the easy 'definitely not' options and i'm forced to do the calculation. Any questions you get wrong you can then get the AI to work through the model answer and do a couple of specific follow-ups to make sure you get it.
It's hard to argue with on-demand quizzes.
